Maya Hackers is a bundle of projects by Guatemalan artist David Marín Roma. Many of them are works in progress, if you are interested in a project please write to feedback at pajarojaguar dot org. Since 2018 the Maya Hackers have widen their scope with several collaborations with Mayan Artist-Scientists-Sorcerers with a really multidisciplinary approach.

David´s work seems to be about connections, from the diploma course at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics focused in grand unification theories, trough the PhD at Rutgers University working on strings and gravitation, to the work at BioMaPs Institute (now center for Quantitative Biology at Rutgers) for the interrelation of Biology Maths and Physics.

Since 2007 he is working on WWW.PAJAROJAGUAR.ORG an umbrella for a wide variety of multidisciplinary projects at the interphase of art, culture and technology. He is currently working to convert the Maya Hackers project into a design company to tackle the increasing demand of time and resources of so many projects.
